[tumblr.com profile] turtletoria is holding an art commission raffle from October 5-December 16, 2024, for people who donate to Gazan family fundraisers. I'm not affiliated with this person, but they asked for others to donate and share if they can, so I am!

There are links to these fundraisers on the original raffle post as well as information about prizes.

some wonderful people in the dimension 20 fandom have put together a fundraising commission drive for doctors without borders. even though it's a d20 fandom event, most of the artists are taking commissions for unrelated fandom/OCs as long as you can provide references. there are still quite a few slots open.

another "if you happen to already be in the market for sketch commissions/something of that ilk, this is a way to do that while also having your funds go to a charitable cause" post. e-sims go both to journalists and civilians in gaza, keeping them connected to the internet and therefore keeping us informed of the situation on the ground there (as well as allowing them to stay in contact with their families and access internet resources). it's a "send proof of donation to get your prize" sort of thing, so you know your money is going where it's supposed to go.

the google form says this event ends on the 25th, but the organizer says they're still going for another week.

i thought i'd boost this in case there are people on my f-list who haven't happened to run into it yet. some artists are offering commissions - including fanart commissions - while others are offering copies of their existing zines/comics and credits toward their merch shops. if you celebrate a gift-giving winter holiday, this could be a nice way to get a present for a loved one while also putting your money toward something concretely beneficial to gazans.
